Terms of Use
Last updated: [DATE]
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you use the Jeeblee website, app and services (“Jeeblee”). Jeeblee is operated by [JEEBLEE PTY LTD] (“Jeeblee”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account, claiming a voucher or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Voucher Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Jeeblee.
These Terms are for shoppers. Stores and couriers have separate agreements with us.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account or place an order.
- You must give us accurate, current details, including your name, mobile number and delivery address.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.
- One account per person. We may close duplicate accounts.
- Tell us straight away at privacy@jeeblee.com.au if you think someone has used your account without permission.
3. How Jeeblee works
Jeeblee is an online marketplace. We connect you with independent retail stores (“Stores”) and arrange delivery through independent couriers (“Couriers”).
- The Store is the seller. When you place an order, you buy the products directly from the Store. The Store is responsible for the products, including their quality, safety, description, price, warranties and refunds for faulty products.
- Jeeblee provides the platform and delivery service. We are responsible for the ordering platform, taking payment on the Store’s behalf, and arranging delivery.
- Couriers are independent contractors, not Jeeblee employees.
Product photos, descriptions and prices are supplied by Stores. We do not check every listing, and products may differ slightly from their photos.
4. Orders, prices and fees
Placing an order. Your order is an offer to buy from the Store. It is accepted when the Store confirms it. Each order comes from one Store.
Prices. Stores set their own product prices. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Fees. Before you pay, checkout shows every fee and your total. Fees may include:
| Fee | Amount |
|---|---|
| Delivery fee | $8.99 to $16.99, based on distance from the Store (up to 15 km) |
| Service fee | $1.99 on most orders, up to $4.99 on some |
| Small-order fee | $5 on orders under $50 |
The minimum order is $30, or $50 for deliveries 10–15 km from the Store. Fees may change, but the fees shown at checkout are the ones you pay for that order.
Tips are optional. 100% of your tip goes to your Courier.
Payment. You pay when you place your order. We collect payment on behalf of the Store (for products) and for ourselves (for fees).
Pricing errors. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we or the Store may cancel the order and give you a full refund.
Our right to cancel. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if we can’t deliver to your address, the Store can’t fill it, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
5. Cancellations, exchanges and out-of-stock items
No cancellations once placed. Stores start preparing orders straight away, so you can’t cancel an order after you place it. Please check your order and address carefully before paying.
Ordered the wrong item? Contact us as soon as possible. The Store may agree to exchange it, at its discretion. You may need to pay a new delivery fee for the exchange.
Out of stock. If an item is unavailable, the Store or Courier will offer you a similar substitute or a refund for that item. You choose.
6. Delivery
Estimated times. Delivery times shown are estimates only. Traffic, weather, Store preparation times and other things outside our control can cause delays. We aren’t responsible for late delivery caused by things outside our reasonable control.
Your address and availability. You are responsible for giving a correct, complete address and clear delivery instructions, and for being available to receive your order or choosing a delivery option below.
Delivery options. At checkout you can choose:
- Hand to me — the Courier hands the order to you or someone at your address.
- Leave with a neighbour or friend — the Courier leaves the order with the person you name.
- Safe drop — the Courier leaves the order at your door or another place you nominate.
When you choose “Leave with a neighbour or friend” or “Safe drop”, your order is treated as delivered once the Courier leaves it as you instructed and records a delivery photo. From that point, the order is your responsibility. We and the Store are not responsible for loss, theft or damage after delivery.
If no one is available. If you chose “Hand to me” and the Courier can’t reach you after waiting and trying to contact you, the Courier will return the order to the Store. The Store will refund the products. Delivery, service and small-order fees are not refunded, because the delivery was completed on our side. You can place a new order for redelivery.
7. Missing, wrong or damaged items
Check your order when it arrives. Every order is photographed by the Store before pickup and checked by the Courier at pickup.
Report within 2 hours. If something is missing, wrong or damaged, tell us within 2 hours of delivery through the app or at privacy@jeeblee.com.au, with your order number and a photo. Reporting quickly lets us check the photos and the Courier while the details are fresh. We assess later reports case by case.
How we resolve it. We compare your report with the Store’s packing photo, the Courier’s pickup check and the delivery photo:
| What the photos show | What happens |
|---|---|
| The Store didn’t pack the item, or packed the wrong item | The Store will send the correct item or refund you for it |
| The item was damaged or lost while with the Courier | Jeeblee refunds you for the item |
| The order was packed and delivered complete | The claim is declined |
Where we confirm an item was missing, we may also give you free delivery on your next order as a goodwill gesture.
For safe drop and neighbour deliveries, we can still help with items the Store didn’t pack, but not with items lost or taken after delivery.
Faulty products. If a product is faulty, contact us and we will connect you with the Store. The Store is responsible for repairing, replacing or refunding faulty products under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Change-of-mind returns
Jeeblee does not offer change-of-mind returns. Each Store sets its own change-of-mind policy, which may be shown on its store page. If a Store accepts a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for returning the item, or for paying a delivery fee if Jeeblee collects it.
This does not affect your rights for faulty, wrong or missing items (see section 7 and section 11).
9. Vouchers and promotions
Vouchers, referral rewards and promotions are subject to our Voucher Terms and any conditions shown with the offer. Unless stated otherwise:
- each voucher is for new customers, one per person, account, device and payment card
- vouchers apply to products only, not to fees or tips
- vouchers have no cash value and can’t be exchanged, transferred or combined with other offers
- vouchers expire on the date shown
- promotions are limited by budget and may end early once the budget is used
If we reasonably suspect a voucher or promotion has been misused, including through fake or duplicate accounts, we may cancel it, cancel the order, or charge you the discounted amount.
10. Using Jeeblee properly
You must not:
- give false information, use someone else’s account or payment card, or create multiple accounts
- make false or exaggerated claims about missing, wrong or damaged items
- abuse, threaten or harass Couriers, Stores or our staff
- use Jeeblee for anything illegal, or to order items for an unlawful purpose
- copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the website or app
Jeeblee does not sell age-restricted products such as alcohol, tobacco, vapes or knives.
11. Your consumer rights
Our services and the products sold by Stores come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or changes those rights.
12. Limits on our liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- the Store, not Jeeblee, is responsible for the products it sells
- if our services fail to meet a consumer guarantee and the failure is not a major failure, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or refunding the fees you paid us for the affected order
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost time, lost profits or missed events
- we are not liable for loss caused by your incorrect details or instructions, or for loss, theft or damage after delivery under a safe drop or neighbour option
- we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control
13. Suspending or closing accounts
We may suspend or close your account, or refuse orders, if you breach these Terms, misuse vouchers, make false claims, or abuse Couriers, Stores or staff. You can close your account at any time by emailing privacy@jeeblee.com.au.
14. Our content
The Jeeblee name, logo, website, app and content belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use Jeeblee as intended.
15. General
Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version with a new “Last updated” date and tell you about significant changes before they take effect. The Terms in place when you place an order apply to that order.
Disputes. If you have a problem, please contact us first at privacy@jeeblee.com.au so we can try to fix it. You can also contact NSW Fair Trading.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
